Sometimes when it appears that things are not working, they actually ARE. The difference is that they are just not working the way you think they should.

It is human nature to try and figure things out. The mind is constantly trying to connect thoughts and experiences.

If there is something you really want to change or really want to have in your life then the mind immediately steps in and tries to figure out a “path”.

We then get fixated on this path – thinking that it is the only way for something to come into your life.

One of the biggest lessons you can learn from the law of attraction is to be completely open to any and every way for something to come into your life.

As long as your mind is fixed on only one way, it can take a very long time for the law of attraction to arrange things to come to you along the one path that you have fixed in your mind.

The truth is that anything you want can come to you in a million ways. When you are truly open and allowing the universe to figure out the HOW then what you want will come to you so much faster.

You do not need a thousand tips and tricks. You do not need 10 different practices and you do not need to dedicate 3 hours a day towards that which you want to manifest.

The people who are incredibly successful with the law of attraction and who seem to quickly manifest everything they want are those who take ONE idea and really use it.

I want to challenge you to do the same.

The law of attraction is simple. Don’t try and complicate things. Pick just one or two ideas from the LOA tips below and put it to use in your life for the next 30 days.

1. Know Exactly What You Want

As simple as this may sound, writing down exactly what you want is the number one reason why most people never manifest what they truly want. As long as an idea exists only in your mind, it is only a vague idea.

Dr. Gail Matthews of the Dominican University of California conducted a study where he found that people who have clear goals WITTEN DOWN are 33% more likely to achieve them.

You’ve probably heard this before, but I urge you to stop right here and now and write down what it is you truly want.

Clarity is power.

Your mind always needs a target and if you do not give it a target it will make one up based on your dominant thoughts.

Here are a few tips for writing down what you want to manifest in your life:

  • The fear of committing to something

    The main reason why you haven’t written down your goals is that at some level you fear the commitment. Now is the time to step up and overcome this fear.
  • Don’t make it a moving target

    Once you’ve decided what you want, fix your mind on it. Do not change it or modify it every other week. Focusing your thoughts on a single idea for a prolonged period of time gives it a lot of energy.
  • Don’t limit yourself

    Just because you can’t see how something will come into your life does not mean it should limit you. In fact, you need to set intentions that are way above what you think is possible for you. Let your imagination soar. A big bold intention has the power to excite you and propel you towards it.
  • Write it down

    When you write it down you take it from the thought world and bring it into the world of concrete reality. You want to create as much detail around what you want as possible. The more clarity you have the more energy you give to the idea.

    Be careful to not get sucked into trying to figure out “how” but instead focus only on the end result. Build all your clarity around the completed manifestation and the state of already having it.
  • Look at it often

    When you write something down you make it real. You take it from the world of thoughts and you make it real and tangible. This is the first step in starting to manifest the idea into a physical reality.

Create a statement about what you want to manifest. Memorize this statement and have a written version with you at all times. You want to look at it at least 3 times a day. Create affirmations around it.

2. Build the Belief

Once you got really clear about exactly what you want, you will almost immediately come up against your own mind.

The mind loves what is familiar – even when the familiar is not something that serves you.

To get something new into your life your mind will have to adopt something unfamiliar and this almost always leas to some form of internal resistance.

The resistance is often in the form of beliefs. Beliefs are ideas and habits that were repeated so often that you do not even question them anymore. They become automatic.

You need to build the belief that you can have what you want and that you deserve it. At the same time, you need to start breaking down the beliefs that cause you to think you can not have it.

This is not nearly as complicated as people make it out to be.

Every time you close your eyes and see yourself having what you want, you lay down a thread in your mind that builds the belief. If you do it often enough it becomes an incredibly storing cable made up of thousands of threads.

If you have old limiting beliefs that hold you back you can use affirmations, meditation and self-analysis to break down these limiting beliefs.

3. Change Your Vibration

The idea of vibration is an important concept when working with the law of attraction. From a scientific point of view we know that everything is energy – even you.

Everything is energy and energy is everything.

We’ve all met people who just ave a low energy. They are negative, they are always complaining, and being with them never feels good.

When you are around someone with great energy you know it. It feels good and their energy is infectious.

The lesson here is simple and that is the fact that our own energy field is real and tangible.

If you live in a constant state of low energy, then you simply can not attract anything good to you.

Like energy, attract like energy.

The fastest and most effective way to raise your energy to be in line with the law of attraction is with gratitude. The energy of gratitude is the energy of attraction.

Make gratitude part of your life and find ways to practice gratitude on a daily basis. Gratitude leads to joy and joy leads to feeling good.

4. Don’t Try and Make It Happen

This is one my top law of attraction tips but it is also the hardest one to apply. A lot of the so-called “success literature” promotes this go-getter attitude of making things happen. It often leads to a lot of effort, struggles and even exhaustion.

Working with the law of attraction is not like that at all.

It is all about letting go and allowing the universe to guide you. There is a big difference between power and force.

When you work with the law of attraction you have power because your actions are inspired and it is all in alignment with what you want to manifest.

Force is the opposite. It is trying to work against the current of life and making things work that are not necessarily in alignment with your highest ideals.

If you get clear on what you want and have the clear intention to manifest it, the last thing you should do is to sit down and figure out 20 ways to make it happen.

You want to step away and let go. Say to yourself “I am open and receptive to any means, methods and avenues for this to come to me now”.

Try and forget about it and just become present in your life. Pay very close attention to what you are attracting and what (and whom) comes into your life. The universe will start leaving breadcrumbs for you to follow.

So many people fail with the law of attraction simply because they do not trust. They try and take matters into their own hands and try and make it happen.

5. Take Inspired Action

Once you are very clear on exactly what you want, you have it written down and you have a clear and definite intention of attracting it into your life, the universe starts working with you.

Opportunities will start showing up. Ideas will come to you and people and events will come into your life. These are all gentle nudges from the universe and when this happens you have to take action.

The law of attraction is not a passive process. You will still work hard to get what you want but the big difference is that it will feel easy and effortless.

Action is a word that can imply “work” to some people, but inspired action will not feel like work at all. The difference between inspired action and action is this: Inspired action is when you are acting to receive. If you are in action to try and make it happen, you have slipped backwards. Inspired action is effortless, and it feels wonderful because you are on the frequency of receiving.
