The Law of Abundance is a universal law that states that there is a limitless supply of all the things that we desire, and we all have the power to manifest anything we want right this moment.
Much like the Law of Attraction, it applies to everything and everyone. The Law of Abundance is always at work – always responding to your thoughts, beliefs and emotions.
The process of manifesting abundance is very similar to using the Law of Attraction, and the same roadblocks keep people from living abundant lives.
What Is Abundance Anyway?
Abundance simply means that there is more than enough of everything all the time. There is no shortage. No lack and no limitation.
Much of our experiences of lack and scarcity stems from our culture and society. In the 1970’s, most men owned one pair of shoes, one suit and maybe 2 shirts.
Today, most people have cupboards full of clothes – most of which they never even wear.
As long as you measure abundance by the material possessions you own, you will never be abundant.
While having more than enough money is part of abundance it is not a requirement for abundance.
True abundance is about ‘not wanting’ anything. You could spend your life accumulating more and more money and you will never have enough.
Only when you have an abundance mindset will you truly have ‘enough’ because then you will realize that you don’t really need to accumulate anything.
Why You Feel a Lack of Abundance?
Many of us have been conditioned to think about our desires from a place of fear. We fear that there is not enough to go around.
We fear that if someone else has something it means that another has to go without. This mindset is the unfortunate cause of the poverty plaguing humanity in our most advanced times.
This scarcity mindset has many origins. Most of it is historic and the very idea of ‘just’ earning a set amount of money every month is part of it.
The idea that you are only entitled to a set amount of anything breeds a scarcity mindset.
Yet, the things that matter most to us for our survival is available in surplus. We have more than enough air to breathe. There is more than enough sunlight, air, love, joy and even food.
It is the belief that there is not enough that is the real cause of all our problems.
It is not a change in circumstances that will change your future but a change in mindset and understanding.
Once you fully understand the law of abundance and know that there is more than enough for everyone, only then can you tap into true abundance.

Once you accept the fact that the entire Universe is a limitless supply of abundance for everyone, you will discover the great abundance in your own life.
Abundance is always there, just waiting for you to let it in.
If you feel that your life is lacking in any way, it is not because you have been excluded from the forces of the Law of Abundance. In fact, the opposite is true.
So, any negative emotions about not having what you want puts the Law of Abundance to work reflecting that energy back to you. Feelings of lack beget lack.
This is why people who may seem like they are never happy, even though they have everything, suffer.
They feel like nothing is ever enough, so they experience nothing ever being enough in their lives.
It is not what you have or don’t have that creates an abundance mindset but rather your perception and beliefs about what you do or don’t have.
How You Can Break the Lack Cycle
Think about your relationship with whatever it is you desire more of. Let’s use money as an example.
How do you feel when you spend money? Do you get anxious at the register? Maybe you frantically put things back, or decide not to purchase anything beyond necessity. Is this because you feel guilty?
Were you taught by your parents that any spending of money is bad, and you have to save as much as you can, or you will end up broke?
You can analyze your relationship with anything in life. Do you feel like you are lacking love? Do you have health problems? What thoughts do you have about the things you lack? Do you think that you will never get well?
Do you think that all the good men or women are already taken? You have to figure out what thought patterns are blocking you from all the abundance available to you, and then replace those negative thoughts with thoughts of abundance.
Here is an example:
Perhaps you only buy things when they are on sale. Some people pride themselves on getting items at a large discount.
This can be great, and even an example of the Universe bringing abundance to you by matching items with the money you have, but only if the items are truly what you have been wanting.
Many times, heavily discounted items, such as clothes, end up being something you probably wouldn’t buy if it were full price. This translates to something you probably don’t like very much, and won’t wear very much.
Valuing things simply because you feel like you are saving money when you buy them sends the message to the Universe that you can’t afford what you really want.
Therefore, more instances of you not being able to afford what you really want will manifest in your life.
To break the negative thought pattern that things are automatically better if they are on sale, stop and ask yourself some questions.
Do I really want this item? Would I buy this item if it was full price? Am I only buying this item because I am afraid of buying it’s more expensive counterpart? Will I really use this item and will it hold up to use?
What is the cost per use of this item? If you start buying the things you actually want, you will enjoy them more, increasing the frequency of your vibration, and you will be making a clear statement to the Universe about what you truly want in your life.
Make The Law of Abundance Work in Your Life
The Law of Abundance applies to every area of you life, and the same process takes place no matter what type of abundance you wish to manifest.
You don’t have to buy more, or get more, of anything to become more abundant right now.
You only need to get yourself into an abundant state. A quick way to do this is by practising gratitude.
Maybe you feel like your body isn’t in the shape you wish it was, but you are able to walk. Think about how different your life would be if you weren’t able to move about freely. Then feel gratitude for what your body can do.
Appreciate the things you already have in your life. Care for the home you have now, instead of neglecting it because it isn’t the mansion that you desire.

As you work on appreciating and taking care of the things and the people in your present life (including yourself), you will feel happier, and your material possessions and relationships will naturally improve, causing you to feel even better.
You will feel abundant, and by the Law of Abundance, more abundance will be added to your life.

1. Open yourself to the truth that there is only an abundance of everything. When you experience lack it is because you are disconnected from the flow of abundance.
2. Practise gratitude – when you are grateful for what you already have you immediately shift from scarcity thinking to abundance thinking
3. Let everything flow THROUGH your life. Do not hold on to or horse anything. Give everything away with love and joy. When you hold on tight to what you think is limited, you actually enhance its limitations
4. Do the things you love – without joy in your life it is very hard to experience abundance. When you can see the splendour of a sunset or the joy of a deep breath you can open your eyes to the abundance all around you.
5. Look within for abundance – it is not to be found anywhere else. It is the consciousness that is the precursor to the experience of abundance and prosperity
