Where Do Angel Numbers Come From? Are they fabrications of the mind? Are they human inventions or are they really Divine ‘symbols’ that is there to help and guide us?
These are tough questions we have to ask. Some sceptics will always remain closed to some of the ideas of spirituality and Divine guidance but those who have first hand experience and conscious contact with Divine guidance know differently.
I for one used to think these ‘angel people’ where full of it. As I evolved on my own spiritual journey I have come to some understandings that have flipped my beliefs systems upside down.
The idea of angels being little spirit babies with wings who fly around with bows and arrows is part of the problem.
Angels are not that at all.
Angels are simply spirit guides and according to Dolores Cannon each and every one of us have at least one spirit guide to help us through this life.
Angels numbers is but one way for these guides to communicate with us.
History and Origins of Angel Numbers
The correlation of symbology to certain numbers isn’t new.
Pythagoras, the famous philosopher, mathematician, and mystic of the Greeks during 569 B.C.E. who is considered the father of western numerology, once famously said, “Number rules the Universe.”
He had a wild fascination with numbers and the divine relationship inherent within numbers and events. This fascination gave birth to what was later known as Pythagorean Numerology.
The field gained more traction later on when, during the 1800s, L. Dow Balliet expanded on Pythagoras’ theories, claiming that each number has a specific set of vibrations or frequencies that they correspond to, which then attracts people emanating the same level of frequencies.
In her book, Philosophy of Numbers, she wrote at length about the inherent vibrations of certain places and the types of people they attract, as well as how to identify and make the most out of one’s vibration and frequency, and using this knowledge to chart one’s path to success.
These preliminary bodies of knowledge concerning the power of numbers would then evolve to what we know today as Angel Numbers.

It’s not necessary to rely on the internet to interpret the guidance that you receive, and it’s even better to be able to decipher your meanings of these phenomena, turning them into your symbols.

These numbers might appear to you on your watch, your wall clock, your phone, telephone, and mobile numbers, on the prices of the goods you’ve purchased and your bills, or even the number of likes or subscribers a particular creator has on YouTube or elsewhere.
They can be anywhere really, and the Universe can be quite creative in its ways.
You might even see them plastered across billboards, or you might hear them in normal conversations, perhaps even on the radio when the DJ announces the time.
You would know too, that it’s a message for you when your ears perk up when you hear them, or when your vision hones in on it and you just feel it hitting you like a lightning bolt, or like an intuitive nudge asking you to look further and deeper.
Everything has a language. Angel Numbers then, is one language that the Universe utilizes to offer us the wisdom and message that we need to hear or uncover at a specific time of our lives.
Angel Numbers as a Language of Frequency and Vibration
Tesla, the man known for inventing the first alternating current (AC) motor and developing AC generation and transmission technology, once famously said: “If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration.”
Each of us operates on a certain frequency, and it starts from the moment of our birth and eventually varies as we age, and they are dependent on how we feel, think and perceive the world around us.
At the lower end of the scale, we are more contracted.
Emotions like shame, guilt, apathy, grief, and fear, keep us locked in a place of contraction, where barely anything moves, and we are pulled down by the weight of our own emotions.
If you receive angel numbers when you’re feeling these emotions, pay close attention.
Those are significant messages for you to heal and renew yourself, and to take the proper steps to work with your guides, angels, and the Universe to release what needs to be released, and offer a resolution to the things that no longer serve you.
Things take a turn when we reach the level of courage and above. The higher up we are on the scale and the more expansive we feel, a certain level of receptivity graces us, where we are more capable of opening up to all the possibilities that life offers in each moment.

Going up the scale, following our inner guidance and nudges, also allows us to be more aware of our inter-connectivity with each other, as spiritual beings living a human existence.
Aligning With The Universe Through The Meaning of Angel Numbers
When our soul begins to ascend to these higher spheres, higher guidance becomes more available to us, and otherworldly beings like angels as well as our guides, are more able to contact us to relay a message from the Universe or from God.
We can then say, that angel numbers don’t exactly originate from something ‘other’ or outside of ourselves, that tries to draw our attention repeatedly. It’s not a one-way street at all.
Angel numbers are, in fact, signs that are attuned to the frequency and vibration we are constantly emitting, and each one hones in on what requires our attention for us to move forward and shift to a higher vibration, if not move closer to the kind of life that the Universe has destined for us.
We have to realize that there is an exchange of energy taking place in the background – our energetic emanations, and the frequency and vibration that we align with outside of ourselves.
In between this interaction is the language of the Universe that calls to us, and in this particular instance, through Angel Numbers.
Having said that, these angel numbers we receive can be thought of as a response of the universe, depending on what we need to know or do, or what requires guidance in our lives.
They allow us to deepen our understanding of where we currently are in our lives, serving as a guidepost to remind us of where we are, where we’ve come from and what we are fighting for, and the purpose of our coming here, and what awaits us every step in the way of our life’s journey.
