When money controls you, you are its servant.

That is the real financial problem that most people have. They feel like they are not in control.

Spirituality and money are often seen as oil and water – it just doesn’t mix. Yet, at the highest level money is in fact a very spiritual thing.
When you have a lot of money, when you are abundant and live without feelings of scarcity you can truly live life to the fullest.
You can only live your life to the fullest when you live beyond scarcity. It is the feelings of scarcity that closes you off, that confines you and causes you to be less than what you can be.
When it comes to the idea of commanding money spiritually it is important to understand the difference between commanding and demanding.
When you command money, you assume the role of master – not servant. This comes from a place of power and possibly because you are ultimately in charge of your thoughts and what you choose to create in your life.
When you demand money, you give away all your power. Demanding means that you are relying on someone or something external to you to bring it to you.
When you are learning how to command money spiritually you are learning to reconnect with your true nature.
What Is Spirituality?
Spirituality has nothing to do with religion. Religious people can be spiritual but religion does not guarantee someone is spiritual.
A lot of very religious people are not spiritual at all. They are simply following rules and abiding by doctrines.
Spirituality is the consciousness and awareness that who you are is not your body or your mind but you spirit; your soul.
You are not a human being having a spiritual experience. You are a spiritual being having a human experience.
You are not a body with a soul. You are a soul – living and operating in a body.
The awareness and consciousness of this ultimate truth is what spirituality is all about. Once you have this awareness your energy shifts.
It is a paradigm shift that causes everything else to take on a new meaning and it changes the very nature of your life.
On the spiritual level you are eternal. Your soul is in this body in this lifetime but your soul will continue on well beyond this life.
On the spiritual level you are not only a part of creation but you are creation. You are intricately connected to the entire universe and all of creation.
To command money spiritually you have to understand that everything you want – including money is something that you are entitled to. Not because of what you do in this life but by virtue of your Divine nature.
Money And Spirituality
Money and spirituality often does not mix because of all the garbage we’ve been fed through religious teachings.
The ideas that poverty is spiritual, that sacrificing worldly belongings is spiritual and that having a lot of money corrupts your soul are all false teachings.
Religions abused their positions to enrich themselves and keep people under their control.
When you become more spiritual and you start understanding how this whole universe fits together you realize that there is no ‘God’ who wants you to be poor just to glorify Her.
This is one very twisted logic.
When you tap into your spiritual consciousness and you realize that you are one with all of creation you realize that you have the power to command money spiritually.
There are those who would tell you that money won’t make you happy but money was never intended to make you happy.
Money is a tool. It is an important part of life. Without money, the world will stop.
Money is not good or bad.
Money simply is.
Whatever you think money is, it will be. Money is neutral and ultimately money is simply a symbol that represents value.
Money becomes very spiritual when you understand that it is an energy and your consciousness of its value is what will cause it to be attracted to you or repelled from you.
You can not connect to abundance and prosperity from a state of greed, fear, resentment or dishonesty.
The energy of abundance is one of love, gratitude, compassion and joy.
The source of money is not the bank. Money does not come FROM your job. It comes THROUGH your job.
Money lies in your consciousness.
Most people limit the supply of money in their lives to a job but money and abundance can come to you in a million different ways.
Opening yourself up spiritually is the start of opening yourself up to true abundance.
The Abundance Book
As someone who grappled with the dichotomy of spirituality and money myself I finally realized that money is in fact a deeply spiritual ‘thing’.
It is our ideas about money that causes the distortion.
This does not mean that being very spiritual makes you have a lot of money. In many ways being very spiritual makes you indifferent to money.
Why?
Because when you think beyond money your consciousness shifts. When you are living at lower levels of consciousness your physical needs and demands take center stage.
Every single person who lives a truly abundant life has a spiritual consciousness. John Randolph Price wrote The Abundance Book – a great insight if you are grappling with reconciling money and spirituality.
In this book he lays out a 40 day prosperity plan. There are 10 key points and admittedly they make for some ‘heavy reading’ and it may take a few repetitions to wrap your head around some of the text.
The idea is to read and re-read these 10 points for 40 days to help change your money consciousness.
The 3 key ideas from the book can be summarised as follows:
- God is lavish, unfailing Abundance, the rich omnipresent substance of the Universe. This all providing Source of infinite prosperity is individualized as me the Reality of me.
- Through my consciousness of my God-Self, the Christ within, as my Source, I draw into my mind and feeling nature the very substance of Spirit. This substance is my supply, thus my consciousness of the Presence of God within me is my supply.
- Money is not my supply. No person, place or condition is my supply. My awareness, understanding, and knowledge of the all-providing activity of the Divine Mind within me is my supply. My consciousness of this Truth is unlimited, therefore, my supply is unlimited.
The premise of the book is that the visible supply of money is not the source of money. It is your consciousness and awareness of Spirit that is the true Source of supply.
To command money spiritually, you simply have to shift your consciousness and awareness away from the material world and focus on your unlimited inner Source of supply.
How To Command Money Spiritually
Money as an object can be very blinding. We all tend to have far too much emotional attachment (or detachment) around money.
When you think beyond money – beyond the dollar bills and think in terms of abundance and prosperity then you open yourself up to the energy that is the source of money.
1. Understand What Money Really Is
Money is not the paper bills you put in your wallet. It’s not your bank account and it is not your stock portfolio.
Money is an idea. It’s energy and it represents value. It is part of the life force and is an essential component of life.
2. Tap Into The Source of All Money
To command money spiritually you do not need any special incantations or spiritual practices. You simply need to increase your awareness and understanding of The Source – of God within.
When you become more spiritual you also start to understand that there is more than enough of everything in this universe – including money.
Money is NOT a finite source.
You do not have to take from someone else to get some for yourself. You getting more money does not mean someone else gets less.
When you are drawing from the infinite you can never take more than you share.
3. Align Your Money ‘Portals’
The ways and means in which you allow money into your life matters. People who make money in dishonest ways or through low energy tasks usually bring that energy into their lives.
This is why someone can make a lot of money but still feel poor. Money that enters your life through low energy channels can not bring anything good with it.
When you always focus on bringing higher energy to whatever you do then it must be reciprocated in what you attract back into your life financially.
Honestly, love, passion, joy etc. are all high frequency energies that you can bring to whatever you do in life.
Align yourself to these higher frequencies and be completely open to money coming to you from any channel or portal.
It may be a job, it may be a new life partner, it may be a new government program, it may be an inheritance, it may even be a lottery.
There are an endless supply of channels through which you can command money into your life.
4. Do The Real Work
The real work you need to do to attract and manifest more money is not to find a new job or to work harder.
The real work you need to do is to work on yourself.
When you remove all the junk from your thoughts, you expand your consciousness and grow in your awareness and understanding of Spirit, your abundance will shift automatically.
5. Grow Spiritually
When you grow spiritually you expand your consciousness. Through meditation, introspection and study you can gain wisdom and an inner knowing that will enrich you well beyond what money can bring.
Abundance always precedes money.
Having a lot of money does not make you abundant. When you feel abundant you inevitably attract a lot of money.
