High vibration foods, sounds, and colours can be used in your everyday life to only affect your own vibration but to directly surround yourself with an environment that is at a higher vibration.
While its true that your vibration is the result of your own mental and emotional state, the environemts you spend most of your time in can have a profound effect on your energy and your vibration.
Sounds and colors directly affect your outer world while the foods you eat directly affect your more intimate ‘outer world’ which is your body (with your body being the environemnt that houses your Soul).
Below I have outlined some basic ideas to help you use food, sound and color to raise your vibration.
How to raise your vibration using the world around you
Our purpose in life, as we walk this spiritual path, is to always be moving up. Raising our vibrations higher, so that not only we become more enlightened, but that those around us do too.
There are many high vibration foods, sounds, and colours that we can use daily to help us in this progression of our higher selves.
Our energetic bodies need feeding just like our physical ones. By doing so, we can replenish our energy centres, enable ourselves to expand our energetic space, and level up on a universal level.
Let’s jump right in and understand which things we can experience, that will only add to our energetic selves.
1 .High Vibrational Foods
High vibration foods, sounds, and colours can play a direct and indirect role in your own vibration. In our socierty, food is perhaps more influential than anything else.
Almost all our food being exposed to additives, preservatives and all kinds of chemical compounds to improve taste, shelf live or appeal.
If you are serious and conscious about your oen vibration then paying attention to the foods you eat will have the most profound impact long term.
What is a high vibrational diet?
The general rule for a high vibrational diet is to eat foods and drink liquids, in an unchanged and natural state. It is the concept of prioritising nuts, fruit, vegetables, oils and humanely raised animal proteins.
A non-processed diet with foods in their raw and natural state, to ensure that none of the goodness and energy is lost.
Eating food is a transfer of energy. Taking that energy that it took to grow these perfect plants and animals and transferring that into another state of being.
By being mindful of what we eat, we can influence the energies that we take in and use within our energetic being.
Let’s start the list with the exciting foods first.
Spices are used throughout the world in a myriad of cultures to increase the wonderful experience that is eating beautiful cuisine.
And you probably could name them if you took a moment:
These spices pack a punch, and that’s why they ended up on the list. They have fabulous healing properties that many cultures still use today. From immune boosters, to digestive assistants, these spices are great for kickstarting your body into healthier places.
They hold high vibrations, due to their purity and healing properties. Ingesting these physically, will release their energetic properties, ensuring that they will add to the corresponding energy centre, to help keep them performing at their optimum level.
Right to the other end of the spectrum, fermented foods are fast becoming a health staple. And this is no coincidence.
The fermentation process allows healthy bacteria to grow, and once eaten, they add to the flora in our digestive systems, improving the way in which we absorb nutrients into our bodies. Allowing us to really make use of these high vibrational snacks.
Fermented foods include:
Fermented foods are a great to assist your sacral chakra as it is responsible for the toxin processing systems of the body.
Boring but fantastic. Green leaves can be added to practically anything you make. They taste great and are packed full of antioxidants and healthy carbs.
Due to their nature and colour, they are wonderful at assisting the heart, therefore the heart chakra too. Well known green leaves of high vibration are:
- Pak choi
Beans and Legumes
Not one for the people with peanut allergy, but for everyone else, legumes and beans can be a huge source of high vibrational nutrition.
Used for their protein content and their natural nutritional value, these salt of the earth products, are great for assisting your throat chakra and sacral chakras.

- Beans: kidney beans, butter beans, haricot beans
Tea is wonderful for the digestion and the immune system. There are hundreds of varieties from all corners of the world.
Black tea is generally good for cholesterol levels, improving digestion and reducing blood pressure. White tea is full of antioxidants, can help with weight loss, immune response and has antibacterial properties.
Chinese teas are fun to explore from a vibrational point of view, and the same goes for flowering teas, like jasmine green tea. These teas are beautiful for the soul, just to watch them bloom in a teapot, is exciting on its own.
Healthy Oils and Fats
Unprocessed oils and fats are brilliant energetically. These include olive, coconut, and avocado oils. Raw honey, maple syrup and ghee.
Using these as an ingredient in our cooking are a healthier and higher vibrational alternative to normal cooking oils and processed fats.
2. High Vibrational Sounds
Sound is a powerful way to fill our vibrational cups, from music to sound baths, it can envelop your whole body and leave you feeling elated and energised.
It is for this very reason that you will hear chanting during Hindu prayer, Indian singing bowls during reiki and meditation compositions to name a few.
Sound is something our body reacts powerfully to. This is why the hair stands up on the back of our neck when we hear a crowd full of people or stand near a waterfall. The frequency is so incredible, that our body can feel it.
Instruments are used during healing for a variety of reasons. The main one being that their frequency can resonate with the energy centres in the body. Allowing stagnant energy to be removed and allow their higher vibrations to nourish the chakras.
Examples of such instruments are:
- Indian or Himalayan singing bowls
- Tibetan Tingsha Cymbals
- Meditation Gongs
- Dorje Bells
- Wind Chimes
Solfeggio frequencies are a group of electromagnetic sounds that Gregorian monks use when chanting. They are said to deeply penetrate the conscious and subconscious mind, helping to heal from within. They are:
- UT 396 Hz – Transforming grief into joy
- RE 417 Hz – Clears energetic blockages
- MI 528 Hz – Used in quantum healing – enables DNA to change and restores balance to the body
- FA 639 Hz – Helps to strengthen relationships and family ties
- SOL 741 Hz – A cleansing tone to remove toxins
- LA 852 Hz – Enables intuition and spiritual balance
These sounds can be accessed on many musical streaming services and video platforms. Try using them in your next meditation and see how amazing they feel.
Chanting is another wonderful sound that can really change your vibrational state. Attending classes to chant with a group of like-minded people, gives an energy to the sound that is attainable in no other setting.
Chanting scriptures such as the Rudram and Om Prayers has many powerful benefits energetically, such as:
- Releasing anxiety and emotional energy
- Healing mind, body, and soul
- Harmonizing the energetic centres
3. High Vibrational Colours
The last in the list, but by no means least. Surrounding yourself with particular colours can change your energetic frequency, by transference of the colour’s energetic frequency.
Choosing the correct colour to assist you in your energetic aims, can have a huge impact on the outcome of your work.
This is why each chakra has its own colour. Our energetic body vibrates at different levels depending on what it is, that the centre controls.
For higher spiritual intention. Incorporating this colour into your life can assist you with awakening your spiritual senses and connecting you to the universe as a whole. It is the colour of your third eye for a reason, it is the gateway to the soul and the universe unlimited.
Blue is the colour of communication and can help to verbalise your intentions and boundaries. If you want to raise your vibrations by living your truth, then blue is the colour to help you do this.
The heart chakra is green with pink at the centre. They join to embody love and connection. Green flows from your heart and out into your energetic space. It helps to balance relationships and create deeper connections within us.
Yellow is the colour of our sense of self. It envelops all our experiences and interactions with the world. It will assist with imparting wisdom and advice, also bringing peace to trauma and anxiety.
The colour of emotion, orange helps us to connect on an intimate level and remove energies of past negativities and interactions. It is a powerful colour to have in the bedroom, to encourage connection and relationship energetics.
Red is the earth colour of grounding and stability. This colour will help you to feel centred and ready for action.
The base chakra is our roots into the earth and connects us in our energetic space from the base, in opposition to the energies of the universe. It completes our energetic flow and is where kundalini is stored.
Listening to what your body needs on any given day, and choosing a food, a playlist or an outfit that will help to improve the feeling for you, will really help to raise your vibration and your mood.
So, if you are feeling anxious or overwhelmed, have a high vibrational breakfast, wear something that brings you joy and listen to some spiritual music on the way to work, your vibration and experience will change to a higher spiritual place.
